If you’re experiencing problems with your ears – such as discomfort, pain, muffled hearing, or a possible infection – we’re here to help.

At Easons Pharmacy, we offer an ear health triage service. Our trained team will carefully check your ears for any signs of problems and, if necessary, prescribe the most appropriate treatment or advise on the next steps.

What we check for

• During your ear check, we can look for common problems such as:
• Ear infections (outer or middle ear)
• Excess earwax or wax build-up
• Inflammation or irritation of the ear canal
• Hearing changes caused by blockages
• Foreign objects in the ear
• Signs that further medical attention may be needed

We can offer free advice and/or prescribe treatments for many conditions- and where we can't we can send you GP a referral letter.

Costs & Eligibility

• Children under 18
  This service is completely free of charge for under-18s as it is covered by the NHS.
• Adults (18 and over)
  Adults are not automatically covered by the NHS for this service. However:
  • You may still be eligible if you have an NHS referral – just ask the receptionist at your GP practice.
  • Alternatively, you can access the service privately by booking a consultation with us.

Our goal is to make sure you receive the right care quickly and conveniently, whether that’s reassurance, treatment, or referral for further support.
